How Does Son Care Mentoring Help?

We are a community where men learn, volunteer, go on adventures together, and live in a place they can focus on becoming more successful people.

For the residential program, Son Care Mentoring students share a  4 bedroom home to live in for the 16 weeks that they spend here.

Students in the non-residential program have weekly mentoring sessions with an assigned mentor.

Son Care Mentoring helps students stick to their plans by keeping them accountable and on track. Students find that they are more successful with someone holding them accountable.

The mentoring program provides:

  • Group sessions

  • One on one meetings

  • Positive role models

  • Academic and career support

  • Leadership development

  • Life-skills training

  • Emotional and social support

Our Goals

Build Self-Awareness & Emotional Intelligence.

Students will learn to identify emotions, understand behaviors, and communicate effectively.

Strengthen Accountability & Growth Mindset.

Students will take ownership of decisions and develop perseverance through challenges.

Cultivate Purpose & Leadership.

Students will explore their identity, future goals, and positive impact on their community.

Who Is This For?

Son Care Mentoring is for any young man ages 18-25 who is not happy with how life is going or just needs help figuring out where they want their life to go.
Son Care Mentoring is ideal for:

  • Students searching for purpose and meaning.

  • Individuals who are looking to improve their quality of life, increase their independence, and progress toward reaching their full potential
